演講摘要 : We study a model of correlated persuasion involving two sender-receiver pairs. Although there is no direct payoff linkage between the pairs, the correlation between the senders' proposals, together with the public observability of signal realizations, creates an informational linkage between the pairs. While the senders suffer and the receivers benefit from the informational externality at a low correlation, the senders' equilibrium response at a high correlation can mitigate the information externality. This results in a non-monotone effect of the correlation on the equilibrium information revelation and welfare. Implications for proposal and transparency designs are discussed.
