演講摘要 : This paper is to explain the distinct types of industrial organizational structure between South Korea and Taiwan. The differences are attributed to the conditions of human resources and social relation at the dawn of their industrialization, which determine their transaction costs, and direct the choice of firms. With the choices of all firms, market structure is shaped. While it’s been well-built, the power of inertia activates a path-dependent trajectory to reinforce the existing structure even the initial conditions have changed.
