  • 演講摘要 : In the context of a simple one-sector endogenous growth model, we examine the theoretical as well as quantitative interrelations between data collection, artificial intelligence (AI) development and human capital accumulation. The pivotal role of data in driving AI progress and its significant impact on human capital accumulation is not only analytically explored, but also numerically studied within our benchmark economy under a logarithmic preference formulation. When the degree of risk aversion rises, households will spend more time on final-good production and less time on studying and collecting data, resulting in a hump-shaped response pattern on the time for AI development and a lower equilibrium output growth rate. When the substitutability between human capital and AI for the final-good production rises, time devoted to studying, AI development, and data collection will all increase, leading to a higher equilibrium output growth rate.
