演講者簡介 : Dr. Tzu-Hao Huang received his Ph.D. in Economics from the City University of New York in 2018. He is currently an Adjunct Instructor at Manhattan University. His research interests are Monetary Theory and Policy, Macroeconomics, Utility Theory, Financial Economics and Engineering, Risk, and Information and Uncertainty.
演講摘要 : Adam Smith posits that value has two distinct approaches: value in use and value in exchange. Smith demonstrates that these two approaches lead to the same conclusion; however, value in use is subject to an unstable measurement, making value in exchange the preferred approach. We find Smith's assertion to be conflated and antithetical, rendering Smith's value in use and value in exchange a false proposition or an invalid distinction.
