本所於12月11-12日進行「2024總體經濟計量模型研討會」，並於研討會首日上午進行「超高齡社會的總體經濟挑戰與機會」主題論壇。論壇主持人為永豐金控陳思寬董事長，並由本所董安琪副研究員擔任引言人，講題為「個人長生是幸福，人口老化是危機？」，同時邀請本所人文社會科學研究中心于若蓉研究員、台灣經濟研究院張建一院長、工業技術研究院副總暨服務系統科技中心鄭仁傑執行長、國家發展委員會人力發展處謝佳宜處長以及本所羅紀琼兼任研究員共同擔任與談人。在面對人口結構快速邁入超高齡社會的現狀下，期盼透過不同的解析角度，提供最適宜的因應對策及建言。
The 2024 Macroeconometric Modelling Workshop (MMW) was held on December 11 and 12, 2024. On the morning of the first day, the policy forum "Macroeconomic Challenges and Opportunities in a Super-Aged Society" took place. The forum was chaired by Dr. Shi-Kuan Chen, Chairman of SinoPac Holdings. Associate Research Fellow An-Chi Tung from the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica, delivered the keynote address, "Is Longevity a Blessing but Population Aging a Curse?" The panelists including Research Fellow Ruoh-Rong Yu from Research Center for Humanities and Social Science, Academia Sinica, President Chien-Yi Chang of the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research, Vice President and General Director of Service Systems Technology Center Jen-Chieh Cheng from the Industrial Technology Research Institute, Director Chia-Yi Hsieh of the Department of Human Resources Development, National Development Council, and Adjunct Research Fellows Joan C. Lo from Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica. The forum aimed to provide insightful analyses and recommendations to address the challenges posed by Taiwan’s rapidly aging population.
