演講者簡介 : Professor Jinill Kim received his PhD from Yale University. He is a professor at Korea University. His research fields are Macroeconomics, Monetary and Financial Economics.
演講摘要 : This seminar first reviews how the world economic prospects have evolved before and after Covid-19, and recent changes in U.S. monetary policy are discussed from the perspective of how Federal Reserve System works. One of the most prominent economic projections is done by the International Monetary Fund, and its projections of world output and inflation have been volatile due to Covid-19. Monetary policy of the world's biggest economy has been affected by and has influenced the changes in world economic outlook. Current U.S. monetary policy will also be discussed.
