演講摘要 : We study the problem of dividing a dollar when agents report rankings of the contributions of other people. We find optimal rules using the maximum absolute loss from the true prole for any number of agents. This can be implemented by a social planner under incomplete information. If budget-balance is required, optimal rules exist only for 3 and 4 agents. Budget balance rules that are nearly optimal are provided for 5 or more agents.
