演講摘要 : In this study, we analyze the competition among talk show programs in Taiwan. We use a discrete choice model to characterize consumers’ the viewing decision. We find that viewers are more likely to watch a program which offers a slant closer to their own political ideology. Based on our estimation results, we discuss whether these talk show programs choose a slant to maximize their viewing rates.
