  • 演講摘要 : This paper will provide an analysis of segregation and its associated discriminatory behaviors from the perspective of inductive game theory. The social situation is abstracted as a festival game, which was given by Kaneko-Matsui. Their focus was to study prejudices associated with discrimination. The focus of this paper is to study segregation of different ethnic groups and its associated discriminatory behaviors in more details, by extending the festival game to include new constraints on observabilities of ethnic identities and on accessible locations for players. These components enable us to study more details of the problem of discrimination. In particular, the idea of limited accessible locations is based on inductive game theory. We characterize the set of Nash equilibria relative to a given location configuration. We will introduce the measure of discrimination, and will analyze various patterns of discriminatory behaviors using this measure. Then we will discuss our results comparing some sociological and social psychological studies.
