We are pleased to announce that the 2026 Taiwan Economics Research workshop will be held at the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica (IEAS), July 1-3, 2026. This workshop is co-sponsored by IEAS and the Center for East Asian Studies, University of Chicago.

Registration for Participation and Submission for Presentation:
● Full participation in the entire workshop is required for both presenters and non-presenting participants.*
● Required documents for presenters: CV, short bio, and paper/extended abstract.
   Required documents for non-presenting participants: CV and short bio.
● Young scholars are encouraged to submit, particularly advanced PhD students (third year and above) and scholars who earned their PhD within the past 10 years.
● A complete manuscript or an extended abstract (at least 10 pages) is acceptable.
● Manuscripts, presentations, and discussions must be in English.

Important Dates:
● Submission and registration deadline: April 1. Late submissions or registration requests will not be accepted under any circumstances.
● Announcement of decision: April 24.

Grants:
● We provide lunch and dinner for all participants during the workshop.
● A limited number of travel grants are available for presenters to defray their travel expenses partially.
