Most countries are eligible for the visa exemption program (for more information, click here) while entering Taiwan. 
 

** For Chinese passport holders, please must contact us ** 
You will need us to apply for an entry permit for you. Please note that you won't be able to enter Taiwan without this entry permit. Due to the lengthy application process, we recommend starting the application before early March, otherwise, it may not be possible to complete the process in time.
