配合中央研究院九十週年院慶活動，經濟所於2018年11月27日邀請加洲理工學院Matthew Shum教授至本所發表專題演講。此次演講主題聚焦於紐約市計程車司機的勞動供給市場，並輔以模型說明司機之收入與勞動力供給之關係。

Prof. Matthew Shum from California Institute of Technology delivered a lecture on November 27th, 2018 at the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica. The lecture focused on taxicab drivers’ labor supply decisions, and used an optimal stopping model to show the relationship between dirvers' income and the length of shifts.
