We are pleased to announce that the 2024 Taiwan Economics Research workshop will be held at the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica (IEAS), August 13-15, 2024. This workshop is co-sponsored by IEAS and the Center for East Asian Studies, University of Chicago.

 

Registration for Participation:

● Participation for the entire duration and accommodation at the Academic Activity Center of Academia Sinica during the workshop are required.

 

Submission for Presentation:

● Presentations in all fields of economics are welcome.

● Young scholars are encouraged to submit.

● A complete manuscript or an extended abstract (at least 10 pages) is acceptable.

● Manuscripts, presentations, and discussions must be in English.

● Submission deadline: May 1.

Grants:

● We provide lunch and dinner for all participants during the workshop.

● Accommodation in the Academic Activity Center (August 12-16, up to four nights) will be fully covered for all participants.

● A limited number of travel grants are available for presenters to partially defray their travel expenses.
