本所在2025年「中研學術大會」期間，於6月30日下午假慕寰廳舉行「劉大中教授暨蔣碩傑教授紀念研討會」。

研討會主題為「國際貿易的新秩序：關稅與匯率政策的角色」，分別邀請中央研究院彭信坤特聘研究員兼副院長及本所許文泰研究員擔任專題演講主講人，同時邀請劉大中先生暨蔣碩傑先生文教基金會許嘉棟董事長擔任主題論壇引言人，並邀請台灣經濟研究院吳中書董事長、本所陳明郎研究員、國立臺灣大學財務金融學系劉憶如教授，以及本所賴景昌特聘研究員共同擔任與談人。透過對關稅及匯率政策的剖析與了解，期盼能讓我們更從容穩健地應對國際貿易新秩序的發展。

The “Professor Ta-Chung Liu and Professor Sho-Chieh Chiang Memorial Symposium – The New Order of International Trade: The Role of Tariff and Exchange Rate Policies” was held on June 30, 2025, at the Mo-Huan Auditorium.

Two keynote speeches were delivered by Dr. Shin-Kun Peng, Vice President of Academia Sinica and Distinguished Research Fellow, and Dr. Wen-Tai Hsu, Research Fellow at the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica.

The forum session on the same topic was chaired by Vice President Shin-Kun Peng. Dr. Jia-Dong Shea, Chairman of the Professor Ta-Chung Liu and Professor Sho-Chieh Chiang Foundation, served as the lead discussant. Panelists included Dr. Chung-Shu Wu, President of the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research; Dr. Been-Lon Chen, Research Fellow at the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica; Dr. Yi-Ru Liu, Professor at the Department of Finance, National Taiwan University; and Dr. Ching-Chong Lai, Distinguished Research Fellow at the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica.

By analyzing and discussing tariff and exchange rate policies, the symposium aimed to help participants better navigate the evolving dynamics of the new international trade order with greater clarity and confidence.
