Call for Participants
 
The 2017 Taiwan Economics Research
August 8-10, 2017, Taipei, Taiwan
 
The Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica (IEAS) cordially invites Taiwanese researchers to participate in the 2017 Taiwan Economics Research. The workshop is sponsored by the IEAS and the Center of East Asian Studies, University of Chicago, and will be held in August 8-10, 2017 at the IEAS. Its purpose is to encourage collaboration in high quality research among Taiwanese economic scholars in and outside Taiwan. 
 
Submission for Participation:
●  Participants for the entire duration and accommodation at the Academic Activity Center of Academia Sinica during the workshop are strictly required.
 
Submission for Presentation:
●  Presentations in all fields of economics are welcome.
●  Young scholars are encouraged.
●  A complete draft of manuscript or an extended abstract is acceptable.
●  Manuscripts, presentations, and discussions must be all in English.
 
Important Dates:
●  Deadline for submissions: May 1st 
●  Acceptance decision: May 22nd
 
Grants:
●  We provide meals for all participants during the workshop.
●  Accommodations at the Academic Activity Center of Academia Sinica will be fully covered for all participants.
●  Limited travel grants are available for presenters to partially defray their travel expenses based on their applications and the review by committees.
