The 2016 Taiwan Economics Research
August 17-19, 2016, Taipei, Taiwan
 

The Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica (IEAS) cordially invites researchers to participate in the 2016 Taiwan Economics Research. The workshop is sponsored by the IEAS and the Center of East Asian Studies, University of Chicago, and will be held in August 17-19, 2016 at the IEAS. Its purpose is to encourage collaboration in high quality research among economic scholars in and outside Taiwan. The workshop will consist of contributed sessions and discussion sessions chaired by:
●  Jin-Chuan Duan (National University of Singapore)
●  Chang-Tai Hsieh (University of Chicago)
●  Ruey S. Tsay - Chair (University of Chicago)
●  Ping Wang (Washington University in St. Louis)
 
Submission for Participation:
●  Participants for the entire duration and accommodation at the Academic Activity Center of Academia Sinica during the workshop are strictly required.
 
Submission for Presentation:
●  Presentations in all fields of economics are welcome.
●  Young scholars are encouraged.
●  A complete draft of manuscript or an extended abstract is acceptable.
●  Manuscripts, presentations, and discussions must be all in English.
 
Important Dates:
●  Deadline for submissions: May 1st, 2016.
●  Acceptance decision: May 15th, 2016.
 
Grants:
●  We provide meals for all participants during the workshop.
●  Accommodations at the Academic Activity Center of Academia Sinica will be fully covered for all participants.
●  Limited travel grants are available for presenters to partially defray their travel expenses based on their applications and the review by committees.
