Welcome to LGS8 & 8PPCGT 

  Joint conferences on “Logic, Game Theory, and Social Choice 8” and “The 8th Pan-Pacific Conference on Game Theory” (LGS 8 & 8 PPCGT) will be held at the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica in Taipei, Taiwan.

  LGS started from 1999 in Tilburg, Netherlands and continued in several cities in Europe and Japan. PPCGT is one of major conferences on game theory in Pan-Pacicfic region. It started from 2004 in Tsukuba, Japan and continued to be held in northeast asia and Oceanian countries.

  The purpose of LGS 8 & 8 PPCGT is to promote mutual interactions among researchers from different disciplines of game theory, economics, mathematics, and philosophy, etc. We invite authors to submit original papers describing research in all areas of logic, game theory and social choice theory. Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Logic and Game Theory: information, (common) knowledge, belief formulation and revision;
  • Game Theory and Social Choice: implementation, stable sets, coalition formation, strategy proofness, cooperative game solutions;
  • Social Choice and Logic: deontic logic, rights, multi-agent logic, belief revision.
